April,
2012, marks the end of the Lummi Island Grange'
second series of dance lessons, each Friday evening, at the Grange,
starting at
7:00 pm. This series of free lessons covered
such
dance steps as the waltz, foxtrot, swing, and latin. Islanders are
lucky that
in our midst is an Arthur Murray trained dance expert, and Vic volunteered
his time and efforts, to help us keep light on our feet. This was all a
low
pressure, fun, get together, for couples and singles, to listen to some
wonderful music, grab a partner, and have Vic guide them into a
comfortable way
of learning those dance steps. Let's hope folks will want to repeat this fun again next winter!
